The connector tool offers a convenient, fast, and efficient means of applying and removing connectors from live lines and will handle all 80CQ split bolt type connectors, up to and including 4/0. The operating handle has a diameter of 1 " (2.5 cm) and the stationary handle has a diameter of 1 1/4" (3.2 cm). Bag not included. Other lengths available.

The conversion kit was designed for use on the Alcoa or Burndy Y-35 Hypress Head. With this conversion kit the Hypress tool head can be converted to insulating stick use in the field. The short handles supplied with the head are removed, and the conversion kit handles are installed, by use of a hinge pin and set screw. The stationary handle has a diameter of 11/2" (3.8 cm) and the operating handle a diameter of 1 " (2.5 cm). Bag not included.

The parallel groove clamp tool accommodates cap-screw type parallel groove clamps (one, two, and three bolt types). The parallel groove tool head clamps can be installed from almost any angle by use of the universal ball clamp. The vise type connector tool installs and removes all sizes of single bolt vise type connectors on energized lines. With this tool it is possible to install connectors on a line as efficiently as when done by hand. The handles are fiberglass. The two bolt connector tool makes it possible to use the large size connectors on live lines. They are as easy to install with this tool as by hand. The two socket adapters—sizes 9/16"
(1.4 cm) and 3/4" (1.9 cm)—fit all bolts supplied on the two bolt vise type connectors. The adapters can be very easily changed in the field with only one bolt to remove. The handles of the tools are fiberglass with a 1" (2.5 cm) diameter for the operating handle and a 11/4" (3.2 cm) diameter for the stationary handle. Bag not included. Other lengths available.

Use the crimp connector tool to make compression type connections on live lines. The handles are fiberglass with a 1" (2.5 cm) diameter operating handle and stationary handle diameters of 11/2" (3.8 cm).

All crimping tools have the “toggle over center” feature to allow the operator to know when the crimp is completed. The S series crimpers with MD-6 type jaws have a heavy duty stationary handle that delivers a full crimp without flexing even on 8' (2.44 m) models. Bag not included.
